"It was a night full of repeated news, worn dry from over-use, and my heart was already beaten to death by it. I figured there was nothing left but to go upstairs and attempt to sleep. I was too feeble-feeling to flick the light switch and handle the light. I brushed my teeth, truly too tired to do anything at all, and washed out my mouth several times. Then I poured a little cup of water into my mouth, and stood there as my mind twisted the picture in the mirror. I had gripped my hair so from stress, putting weight on my head, tilting it. My pupils grew, and my face seemed so wan . . . . Finally the water I was holding fell slowly from my mouth, splattering in a morbid manner upon my white nightgown and wrist. And here is what leapt into my brain." |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
