I have some advice....
well birth control. I don't know how you feel about that considering there's female hormones in it. But I've been on it for years, and just a few months ago I started taking it non stop, skipping the week where you're suppose to get your period. Not having a period makes the world a much better place, not to mention I have female problems so my periods are much worse than what's average... and very painful. I'd suggest giving it a try... or look into ones with less hormones. It's a pretty simple quick fix.

My personality also goes under a negative overhaul during this time, and my low dosage birth control has not done a thing to help it in the past couple of years.

To Jack: I don't really have any advice for getting through it. All I've ever been able to do is be aware that I'm having problems, and warn the public. The people who matter stay with you even if you're a raging homicidal bitch every four weeks. But I know you may not want to announce having PMS to all and sundry.

To PorcelainPoet: if you're going to be skipping your period on the bc, you might want to upgrade from the pill. The pill was not really intended for skipping periods altogether. However they have other forms such as the shot and a thing that is inserted into your arm for several years that eventually eliminate your period while you are on them. Both of these are more long-term methods and would eliminate having to take a pill every day and pay for a new pack every three weeks. (The shot will hurt your bone marrow after having been on it for a year or so, but I'm pretty sure the arm thing is very safe. I wish I could remember what it's called, but other people will know what I'm talking about.)

Birth control pills/needles made me nuts - literally. landed in the mental ward everytime i tried it.

Have faith, buddy. it gets better. It seems like such a long time, and it is, but eventually you'll be out on your own, have those egg sacks gone, and look/sound amazing on T, and also probably be emotionally grounded because of the T. It will happen, you just gotta stick it out. I know it's hard. Go see another Endo, maybe. You;re such an amazing guy, and ye cut a handsome figure, too. just... slug through it.

Oh well to what you said... my obgyn... is actually the one who told me I could take the pill like that and she said that although people say you're not suppose to do it that way, there's no harm involved. So there's no negative effects to continually taking it... aside from whatever side effects the pill causes. Although for me.. I don't seem to have any side effects.

did you try different kinds?? There's tons of different kinds with different amounts of the hormone in it... I take something called Levora.
